"PELSUE" Personnel Hoist PHO7C

Pelsue PH Series Hoists are designed and tested as Personnel Hoists for a single user as defined within ANSI Z359.4-2007 and also Mechanical Retrieval/Lifting Devices as defined in OSHA 1910.146 & ANSI Z117.1 & ANSI Z359.4-2007 for attaching a person that is entering or exiting from a confined space.

It is built with an internal braking system to prevent the accidental pay out of line, as well as a backup locking pawl system to prevent “free-wheeling” of the hoist. In the case that the primary brake ever becomes disabled the Pelsue personal hoist has a built in secondary “overspeed” brake for redundancy. Hoist line extension (pay out) should occur ONLY when the handle is turned counterclockwise AND a force of AT LEAST 10 lbs.(4.5 kg.) is applied to the line.

The hoist frame attaches to a quick release bracket which can then be mated to the various Pelsue structures and components.
